This book is a definite page turn-ERRRR. I love to be sucked into a book in the first few pages and this read did just that. It immediately sucked me into the characters world and lit my imagination on fire.
I could hardly wait to get to the next page and the next chapter, just to hurry up and get more of the story un-covered.
An awesome book for first time author, Maya! I am an absolutely fan!!!

Sometimes getting what you wish for May not always be the best thing. Zuri and Amir learn that first hand.
Zuri is a 28 year-old attorney who is married to Amir, 30 year old engineer. There marriage is a happy one but Amir wants to spice it up a bit. Hesitant about the repercussions of venturing on the wild side. Zuri initially says no to her husband’s proposal. But her desire to please him changes her mind. Zuri finds herself in a love triangle with her husband and of all people, his twin brother.
Lust and rash choices lead them down a twisted road that has far reaching lasting implications.
Maya introduces us readers to enticing questions of “what if?” and “why not?” Great storyline with a well thought plot sequence. From the beginning of the book you are intrigued and immediately pulled into this couples drama. An easy and flowing writing style makes this a fast read aids the intrigue of the storyline.
Maya has given us flawed characters who we can relate to. There’s enough character development to get a feel for each character and the motivations behind some of their actions.
The story is riddled with conflict and tension that kept me engaged and attempting to guess how the story would end. Maya addresses taboo subjects that are relevant in today’s world.
I enjoyed the book. I only have one unanswered question that I can’t reveal here without giving too much away.

Some believe that love can conquer all. Haniya and William Scott were the married couple that believed in this old adage. Married 30 years with 4 adult children, they’ve been through trials and tribulations but at the end of the day, they stood together.
Life was good-Haniya was a traveling nurse and Willam and the family owned several businesses. They had family, friends, and a beautiful home they built together. There was nothing that could tear them apart until it was the unthinkable and the challenge was too big.
Would there be a journey towards forgiveness and healing or a new path to better beginnings. Will Haniya and William survive this latest challenge?
Maya gives us love and all the realities that come with it. She has written a story that gives us the harsh realities of being in love. An engaging plot that offers suspense and twists.
She has an easy writing style allowing the book to be a fast read. She brings interesting characters, with flaws, to life and gives us just enough of their personalities to feel like we know them intimately. Her supporting characters add substance to the storyline and enriches the plot.
Maya tackles heavy subjects giving us an inside glance of that trouble, leaving us to ponder the predicaments and the possibilities.
Although I anticipated a different and more climactic ending, I enjoyed the story.
